Not surprisingly, the new Scottish Girls Champion Connie Jaffrey (Troon Ladies) has been named in the Scotland team for the Girls Home Internationals in August at St Annes Old Links, England.
Jaffrey has also been selected for the Scotland team in the Girls British Amateur Championship at Fairhaven, in mid August.
Alex Glennie (Kilmarnock Barassie) has been named as second reserve for the European Senior Ladies' Team Championship in Slovenia in September.
The SLGA teams announced recently for forthcoming events are :-
Girls' Home International Matches, 7 - 9 August at St Annes Old Links, England
Lesley Atkins (Gullane), Connie Jaffrey (Ladies GC Troon), Fiona Liddell (Schloss Vornholz), Tara Mactaggart (Minto), Heather Munro (Monifieth), Nicola Robertson (Dunblane New), Lauren Whyte (St Regulus) and Clara Young (North Berwick).
Reserves are Eilidh Watson (Muckhart) and Danielle Ker (Roxburghe).
Girls' British Open Amateur Championship, 12-16 August at Fairhaven Golf Club
Connie Jaffrey (Ladies GC Troon), Tara Mactaggart (Minto) and Lauren Whyte (St Regulus).
Reserves are Fiona Liddell (Schloss Vornholz) and Heather Munro (Monifieth)
Ladies' British Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship, 21-23 August at Prestwick Golf Club
Eilidh Briggs (Kilmacolm), Gemma Dryburgh (Beaconsfield) and Alyson McKechin (Elderslie).
The reserves are Gabrielle MacDonald (Craigielaw) and Lauren Whyte (St Regulus)
European Senior Ladies' Team Championship, 3-7 September, Bled Slovenia
Alison Bartlett (Royal Dornoch), Lorna Bennett (Ladybank), Fiona de Vries (St Rule), Fiona Hunter (Southerness), Mary Smith (Tain) and Sheena Wood (Aberdeen Ladies).
Reserves are Kathleen Sutherland (Royal Montrose), Alex Glennie (Kilmarnock Barassie) and May Hughes (Lanark).
The Spirit International, 27 October - 3 November, Whispering Pines Golf Club, Texas
Gemma Dryburgh (Beaconsfield) and Rachael Watton (Mortonhall)
The reserve is Jessica Meek (Carnoustie Ladies)
