A quartet of Troon Ladies club members will represent Ayrshire interest in the matchplay stages of the Scottish Girls Championship, being held this week at Ranfurly Castle GC, after the strokeplay qualifying rounds were completed on Wednesday 17.07.13.

Girls internationalist Connie Jaffrey led the Ayrshire challenge, qualifying in fifth place with rounds of 76 & 78 for a total of 154, leaving her just two shots off the best qualifying score posted by  Emily Dalgetty (Glencorse)

Hazel McGarvie on 159 (83 - 76), Katie McGarva on 164 (83 - 81) and Emma Hale on 167 (83 - 84) also qualified comfortably within the cut off mark of 170.

The matchplay stages continue throughout the remainder of the week.

177 - Lauren Gilbert (Largs) 89 - 88
183 - Rachael Irvine (Largs) 87 - 96
